Oct. 13th Meeting

At Tuesdays meeting we will be joined by Dr. Huxford who will talk to us about our children's dental needs. There will be time for Q & A so if you have anything you'd like to ask please email Arleen before the meeting. Hope to see you all there!

Moms Night Out!

Our first Moms Night Out of the year is this Friday, Oct. 2nd, 7:00 @ Starbucks. Moms Night Out will always be the first week of the month, normally on Wednesday, but this week it's Friday b/c of the soccer schedule. It will always be at Starbucks and don't let your finances keep you from coming! If you can't afford a drink a member of the steering team will use MOPS funds to buy one for you! We all struggle at times so don't be afraid to speak up.

I'd also like to thank Lisa for all the wonderful food and tips on cooking today!!

Sept 29th Meeting

Our next MOPS meeting is this Tuesday, Sept. 29th. Get ready for some great cooking tips (I know I can use all I can get!) Remember it's not too late to bring a friend!

Sept. 22nd Playgroup

MOPS got off to a great start this year and I'd like to thank all the ladies on the Steering Team that made it possible! Awesome job! Our first playgroup will be at Veteran's Memorial Park. Most moms tend to show up closer to 9:30 so don't rush!

End of the Summer Playgroup

Kristin Estes is going to host an end of the summer swim party on AUGUST 18TH! Here's the info:

Let's have a pool party to celebrate the last playgroup with school-aged siblings! :) All are welcome, whether you have only little ones or bigger ones too. Our pool has a small wading pool attached to the deeper one, so there's a place for all ages! We also have a fun basement to play in if swimming's not your thing. Yard Sale

Summer Playgroups

Now that it's hot playgroup will be at Veteran's water park unless otherwise noted. Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Tuesday June 16th

This Tuesday isn't going to be hot like we Southern Nevadans are used to! The water park is still an option for playgroup but I have another suggestions. Regal Entertainment group is showing FREE (2nd run) movies all summer on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:00. This Tuesdays movie is Veggie Tales: The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything. For those of you who haven't seen it, it is a great movie and my kids have watched it over and over! This is showing at the theater at 8880 South Eastern Ave Las Vegas ,NV 89123. June 9th Playgroup

Looks like it's going to be pretty cool again tomorrow (did I just say that?? Is it really June??) so let's meet at Hemenway Park rather than the water park. :o)

Summer playgroups

Tomorrow's playgroup will be at Veterans water park. This is the usual spot for summer but if anyone would like to suggest a different location or host a playgroup at their house please email me at bcmom2@gmail.com and I will put the information on the blog.

Registration Reminder!!

Registration of the 2009-2010 MOPS year is going on now. The current fee of $21.95 will go up to $23.95 after THIS FRIDAY May 29th. You can drop off (or get) your form at Christian Center Church and pay cash or check (make checks out to the church as well.) Office hours are 8:30-12:30 and 1:30-4:00. Office closes at 12:30 on Friday.

Reminder

Moms night out is tomorrow at 6:30 at the high school track!

Our Open House and Registration is Tuesday the 26th in front of the Christian Center Church. Be sure to tell your friends!

That's a Wrap!

Our last meeting of the year was a great one-full of laughter and tears! We missed all of the moms that couldn't make it.
Don't forget that we are having our open house and registration on Tuesday May 26th in front of Christian Center church. There will be a bounce house and water toys for the kids.
This Tuesdays playgroup will be at Veterans park. The water toys should be on so bring your suits!
Moms Night Out for May will be on Friday May 22nd at the high school track to walk, talk and burn some calories! Bring water and Stephanie will bring some healthy snacks. Starting time is 6:30.

Last Meeting Of The Year

Our last official meeting of the year is this Tuesday May 12th! We hope you will all join us in wrapping up what was a great year for MOPS! Tuesday May 26th will be our open house and registration for next year and this would be a great opportunity to bring a friend!

Tuesday May 5th

This Tuesday playgroup will be at Central Park which is located next to the BC pool. Also, during that time there will be a Steering Team interest meeting. If you are interested in being a part of the behind the scenes activities of MOPS come to Kristin's house on Tuesday! 1437 San Felipe.
