Fall Festival

Bethany Baptist has a totally free "Fall Festival" - like a carnival with games, face painting, hot dogs, food, candy & lots of fun. Everyone is invited to participate! It is from 5:30 - 7:30 at Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Wyoming Street.

Fire Station Tour!

Next Tuesdays play group will be at the Henderson Fire Station 96. The tour begins at 10 am for approximately one hour. Address is 96 Via Antincendio (at Lake Las Vegas). The Mommy Diaries

Hello ladies! Our topic for this Tuesdays meeting will be on growth so be sure to read chapter two in The Mommy Diaries. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Yard Sale Reminder

You don't want to miss this yard sale!! We have boxes and boxes of boys and girls clothes and shoes, boys and girls bikes, toys and stuffed animals. There are THREE doll houses!! We also have suit cases, vintage Mickey and Minnie telephones, Halloween costumes, books and movies. 1416 Esther-doors open at 7:00 Saturday morning (Oct 18th).

Yard Sale

HUGE yard sale this Saturday @ the the Calvert house! The address is 1416 Esther Dr. Items will include: clothing (men, women and children), toys, pack-n-play, stroller, blue race car toddler bed with mattress, movies, books, printer, fax machine, household items and much much more! Doors open at 7:oo.

Because of the 5th Tuesday in September we have two play groups before our next meeting on Oct. 14th. This week play group will be at Hemenway Park.

Our play group on Sept. 30th will be at Oasis Park. Don't forget that we have two off weeks before our next meeting on Oct. 14th. Play group on Oct. 7th will be at Hemenway Park. We hope you will join us and get to know some of the other moms in our group while your little ones burn off some energy!

First Meeting

We had a great first meeting today! Thanks to those who helped with the set up and clean up! We hope that everyone felt welcome and had fun. Our playgroup next week will be at Veterans water park around 9:00 or whenever you show up! Mark your calendars for our moms night out at Arleen's house on Wednesday Sept. 17th @ 7:00. Arleen's address is 1523 Sandra Dr. No need to bring anything-Arleen is going to provide some yummy desserts! :)

PKD Walk

Staci Wood (our Discussion Group Leader) wanted to let everyone know about the PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) Walk. Staci's step-daughter was diagnosed with PKD when she was 10. The walk is on Sept. 20th @ Acacia Park in Henderson. Registration begins at 9:00 and the walk starts at 9:45. If you'd like more information about the walk or PKD go to http://www.pkdcure.org/
